Fun for the Holidays

Well it is that time of the year again when we get the house all decorated the lights up around the house and enjoy some family fun making a gingerbread house. I will post some pictures of all of these events but i just wanted to share a story with you. You know the saying it takes a whole community to raise a child well i would like to change that up a bit and say it takes a whole family to keep a gingerbread house from falling. Renee, Micah and I spent the good part of 2 hours putting together and decorating a ginger bread house, my job in all of this was not to be creative and make amazing art with some frosting or candies nope my job was to hold the house together for an hour while Micah decorated it. Renee put together other components and not to my surprise Micah made another stellar gingerbread house. If one person tried to make this house it would have surely fallen, it takes the strength and commitment of a family to keep a house together, be it your household or a gingerbread house.
