Answered Prayers

Some of you might have known that Renee and I have been planning a trip to Europe this spring. We had everything figured everything out, tickets bought, plans being made then it all came to a halt..... Last Monday while in class i was told that there was going to be two holidays that we were going to get in this particular class making it 8 weeks long instead of 6 which ended up putting my portfolio class during our trip. the portfolio class is a class that determines whether or not you can continue in the program and it is 3 weeks long and you cannot miss any classes. when i heard this it was like a punch in the gut... I could hear the words of Renee echoing in my head that i should have triple checked the dates of classes and made sure everything was kosher. The whole next week i was stressed Renee was mad and i was trying to figure out a way that we could go because our tickets were not refundable and it was either Pray that God would magically make me be able to miss a class that i couldn't miss or pray that God will make things work out for us. after exhausting myself trying to do it all, i finally realized it is God and only God that was going to get me out of this mess. so i prayed and i prayed, i called the director of the program i am in begged and pleaded she made it sound like it was a possibility she wanted me to call back the next day and she would give me the final answer. i thought WOW God is going to make this work.......but not the way i thought.... i called the director and she said well after talking to people it isn't going to work out sorry good luck with everything bye... i sunk into my seat and i said a prayer for God to make sense of the mess and also please let Renee be gentle on the beating she would give me later that night. i prayed and i got up and a peace came over me, i called the airlines to see what it would cost to change the dates to a week later. To make a long story longer God answered prayer we are going a week later than planned are able to stay a little longer didn't have to pay any extra money and are receiving money back in vouchers. God is so GOOD! so now we are leaving march 18 getting into Frankfurt the 19th and coming home on march 30th we are so blessed to be able to do a trip like this and i think God helped me to realize that and humbled me to my knees in the process. oh and really this all couldn't happen with out great grandparents Paul, Dianne, Pam, and Dan thanks you for watching Micah while we are gone i know he will love every minute of the time he gets with you all.
